samantha greene is a production designer, costumer, mixed-media sculpture and installation artist born in san diego, california. in 2022, greene received bachelor’s degrees in art practice and sociology from the university of california, berkeley, being awarded the Wendy Sussman Award for excellence in art and the highest honors in sociology. her costuming and set design/dressing work is seen in Panels, a dance film by Tracey Lindsay Chan and Eric Mann, and prop work in Learner's Permit, a short film by Meera Joshi. greene has been featured in various publications, such as How to Make an Installation published through the uc berkeley department of art practice, and gallery shows such as Coalescence at the worth ryder art gallery. greene works with various meaningful materials to create work about the complexities of grief, infrastructure, mapping, and place, amongst other things. she has spent several years teaching art and managing art projects in the nonprofit sphere, and recently began work in the world of production design. greene currently lives and works in san francisco, california.
